    Abstract: PURPOSE: A phase matching method and apparatus using a voltage difference of signals in a monopulse receiver are provided to simply remove a phase error by measuring a power difference of a voltage difference of an IF terminal. CONSTITUTION: A signal is transmitted from an RF signal generator through a horn antenna. The signal transmitted from the horn antenna is received through a pulse antenna and separated into a sum signal(S signal) and a difference signal(D signal). A pilot signal is generated to make a radio of D signal to S signal constant in the aspect of a phase matching reference, and determine an azimuth angle between the horn antenna and the monopulse antenna. When the pilot signal is inputted to a 180 degree hybrid circuit, the circuit generates an S+D signal and an S-D signal from the S signal and the D signal received through a sum channel and a difference channel. A voltage difference between the S+D signal and the S-D signal is measured. A phase shifter is adjusted to maximize the voltage difference.
