Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide a magnetorheological fluid used as a protection material. Another objective of the present invention is to provide a magnetorheological fluid showing a high shearing property by having an enhanced structure. To achieve the objective of the present invention, a method for manufacturing a magnetorheological fluid according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first step for oxidizing iron-silicon alloy nanoparticles and a second step for coating a surfactant onto the oxidized nanoparticles and dispersing the nanoparticles in a dispersion medium. The iron-silicon nanoparticles contain 6.5 wt% of silicon added to iron.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a bulletproof material. More specifically, the present invention relates to a magnetic frame of a bulletproof magnetic fluid composite material. According to the present invention, impact points of a testing piece of a magnetic fluid-fiber composite material are effectively arranged on a frame made of a nonmagnetic material; then, a permanent magnet is stably inserted to the frame so as to apply an external magnetic field to the testing piece. According to the present invention, not only many impact results can be obtained at once but also each magnet can effectively apply a magnetic field on a target of the testing piece of the magnetic fluid. Therefore, the magnetic frame can be very economically used for a bulletproof testing on the testing fabric piece using the magnetic fluid.
