Abstract: The present invention relates to a BDI (Belief-Desire-Intention)-based comprehensive agent modeling apparatus for military logistics simulation and a method thereof. The BDI-based comprehensive agent modeling apparatus includes a military agent for perform an operation in a battle field; a transportation agent for establishing a desire based on a belief of the military agent and performing intention according to the selected desire; a request information update module which creates new request information in real time as the status of the battle field operated by the military agent is changed and transfers the request information to the transportation agent; and a desire regenerator which regenerates the desire according to the new request information transferred from the request information update module such that the new desire can be operated in the battle field. The project of the agent can be corrected in match with the new status of battle information, so that the materiel can be reliably supplied.

Abstract: Disclosed is an optimal distribution system of items in an agent based military simulation environment. According to embodiments of the present invention, limited military items are optimally distributed to a plurality of agents using a genetic algorithm and a grouping algorithm, thereby facilitating effective real military simulation that military item transportation is reinforced in various battlefield situations.
