Abstract: A method for analyzing quantitative characteristics of a direction finding site is provided to accurately find a most proper location for the direction finding site by using the quantitative characteristics of candidate locations. A data transmitter for analyzing quantitative characteristics of a direction finding site includes a modulator(10), an amplifier(12) and a transmission antenna(14). The modulator receives data made of the same symbols and modulates the received data, such that constant constellation coordinates are marked on a constellation used for analyzing a channel environment of the direction finding site. The amplifier amplifies the data, which is modulated in the modulator. The transmission antenna transmits the amplified data.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A switching apparatus and an apparatus and a method for detecting a single channel direction using the same are provided to improve productivity by reducing the number of cables drawn from a plurality of antennas. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting a single channel direction comprises a phase shifting part(110), a signal synthesizing part(130), and a switching part(150). The phase shifting part includes a detail converting part. The detail converting part phase-shifts a signal of each antenna from signals transmitted to antennas of N number forming an antenna array. The signal synthesizing part synthesizes the antenna signal and the phase-shifted signal and outputs the synthesized signal to one output terminal. The switching unit successively connects the antenna to the phase shifting part and successively connects the detail converting part to each antenna.

Abstract: An apparatus for collecting, regenerating, and analyzing frequency hopping signals is provided to simulate a virtual outdoor communication environment indoors by storing wideband frequencies outdoors and regenerating the stored wideband signals indoors. A frequency hopping signal analyzer comprises a digital storage part(1300), an RF regeneration part(1400), a signal analysis part(1500) and a signal processing part(1200). The digital storage part(1300) converts collected frequency hopping signals into digital signals and stores them. The RF regeneration part(1400), connected to the digital storage part(1300), receives the stored digital frequency hopping signals, converts them into analog signals, combines them with a carrier, and outputs them. The signal analysis part(1500), connected to the digital storage part(1300), receives the stored digital frequency hopping signals, estimates frequency hopping parameters, and outputs them. The signal processing part(1200), connected to the RF regeneration part(1400) and the signal analysis part(1500), processes the outputted RF signals, converts them into baseband signals using the frequency hopping parameters, and outputs them.

Abstract: An equivalent port circuit and a method for designing and measuring a broadband active dipole antenna using an equivalent impedance circuit are provided to measure a gain and a noise factor of the broadband active dipole antenna without a specific facility like an anechoic chamber. An active dipole antenna measuring device includes an active antenna(100) and a measuring device(200). An active antenna includes an equivalent circuit(110) and an active circuit(120). Abstract: A direction finding method using a correlation vector is provided to find an accurate direction even when a burst error exists in a received signal by using a correlation vector. A difference between a phase difference, which is predetermined in a direction finding system, and a phase difference, which is measured during a direction finding process, are calculated, and correlation coefficients among the phase differences smaller than a threshold value is calculated(S40). A peak value of the correlation coefficients is detected(S50). A final incident angle is estimated from the peak values(S60,S70). When the number of antennas is smaller than a threshold value required for detecting the correlation coefficients, a burst error message is outputted.
