    Abstract: A three-dimensional array antenna system given in the present invention further includes a Z-axis antenna arranged on the Z-axis vertical to the plane formed by an X-axis antenna (10) and a Y-axis antenna (20) in a X-Y-Z coordinate system. The multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm (40) whereby a steering vector which does not have a symmetric feature on the point of a π/2 altitude due to the cosine function which is a phase shift value by the Z coordinate is applied, and the estimation of the signal parameters via rotational invariance technique (ESPRIT) algorithm which does not calculate an altitude (θ) after calculating an azimuth (φ), instead calculates the azimuth (φ) and the altitude (θ) independently from each other are applied to estimate the altitude (θ) of an air target. Therefore, the difficulty of separating the direction of arrival (DOA) to estimate the altitude from the receiving signal of the array antenna can be resolved, jamming signals can effectively be removed, and the performance deterioration due to error propagation can significantly be reduced.
