Abstract: 본 발명은 엔코더 및 엔코더의 출력 변환기에 관한 것으로서, 엔코더로부터 펄스 신호를 입력받아 변환하는 신호변환부, 신호변환부가 출력하는 신호를 증폭하는 신호증폭부, 엔코더로부터 펄스신호를 입력받아 회전체의 회전방향을 판단하는 신호판단부, 신호판단부의 출력을 바탕으로 신호증폭부의 증폭된 신호 중 하나의 신호를 선택하는 신호선택부를 포함하는 엔코더 출력 변환기 및 이를 구비하는 엔코더로 이루어진다. 이러한 회로를 통하여 아날로그 회로는 별도의 설계변경 없이도 엔코더를 속도 센서로 활용할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An encoder and an output converter thereof are provided to enhance accuracy of an analog circuit for detecting a rotating speed of a rotating body by reducing an error in comparison with a DC tachometer. CONSTITUTION: A signal converting part(110) converts a pulse signal received from an encoder(150). A signal amplifying part(120) amplifies a signal outputted from the signal converting part into a plurality of signals having a different electrical polarity. A signal determining part(130) receives the pulse signal from the encoder, and determines a rotating direction of the rotating body. A signal selecting part(140) selects one signal among the amplified signals of the signal amplifying part based on an output of the signal determining part. The signal amplifying part includes a first circuit which reversely changes an electrical polarity of the output of the signal converting part and a second circuit which maintains the electrical polarity of the output of the signal converting part.
