    Abstract: A direction finding array antenna simulator is provided to extend an application range by simulating a direction finding array antenna through a simple structure change. A direction finding array antenna simulator includes a first divider(111), a second divider(121), n variable phase shifters(122-1,122-n), n mixers(112-1,112-n), n low pass filters(113-1,113-n) and a phase difference detector(140). The first divider(111) divides an RF(Radio Frequency) signal into n signals. The second divider(121) divides a local oscillation signal into n signals. The n variable phase shifters(122-1,122-n) vary phases by being operated in a narrow band for the n divided oscillation signals. The n mixers(112-1,112-n) perform the frequency transform of the n divided RF signals based on the n phase varied oscillation signals. The n low pass filters(113-1,113-n) cut off the specific band for the n frequency-transformed signals. The phase difference detector(140) detects the phase difference of output signals of the low pass filters(113-1,113-n). The n variable phase shifters(122-1,122-n) are operated in a wide band by maintaining the phase difference of the local oscillation signal to the phase difference of an intermediate frequency, and simulate a phase array direction finding antenna of a linear shape, a circular shape or a planar shape.

    Abstract: A dual-band active dipole antenna is provided to enhance a signal reception property of the dipole antenna by varying a length of a radiating element using a high frequency blocking element. A dual-band active dipole antenna includes a dipole antenna unit(20) and an active circuit unit(22). The dipole antenna unit includes a pair of basic radiating elements(21A,21B), a pair of additional radiating elements(23A,23B), and high frequency blocking elements(24A,24B). The additional radiating elements are arranged to be apart from the respective basic radiating elements. The high frequency blocking elements couple the basic radiating elements with the additional radiating elements, respectively. The active circuit unit amplifies an RF(Radio Frequency) signal from the dipole antenna unit and matches output impedances of the antenna unit and a power supply with each other.
