    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for extracting position information of a power line using an eigenvalue ratio, including the steps of: acquiring three dimensional point cloud raw data using a laser radar in the air; separating ground points and non-ground points from the raw data using an adaptive triangulated irregular network (Adaptive TIN) algorithm; separating a surface and a non-surface by generating a continuous surface patch by grouping irregularly distributed points in a three dimensional space among the non-ground points; and extracting power line candidate points by comparing a threshold ratio with an eigenvalue ratio by calculating a covariance matrix of non-divided points which are classified as non-ground points.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for extracting building regions using three-dimensional raw data based on a laser radar. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for extracting building regions using three-dimensional raw data based on a laser radar comprises the steps of: generating three-dimensional raw data, based on a signal reflected from a target after a laser signal of the laser radar hits the target; filtering the three-dimensional raw data such that the entire data region is divided into a ground point area and a non-ground point area, based on the generated three-dimensional raw data; generating a surface patch by grouping points distributed on the surfaces of objects on a three-dimensional space in the non-ground point area, and dividing the generated surface patch into a surface and a non-surface; and calculating the height, area, and height standard deviation of the generated surface patch, and extracting building candidate points, based on the calculated height, area, and height standard deviation.
