Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-channel orthogonal digital signal processing transponder apparatus and a method thereof which distribute frequency values to each satellite communications transponder group by an orthogonal processing algorithm not to enable a frequency value of each satellite transponder group to collide to each other in the operation of multiple satellite communications transponder groups, and process a forbidden band for protecting satellite communications transponders from a jamming signal which is an obstruction signal. The satellite communications transponder according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises: a pseudo noise sequence generation unit for generating a pseudo noise sequence; a forbidden band processing unit for generating predetermined forbidden band information when interference information is received; and a transponder processing unit for determining a frequency value of each satellite communications transponder group to enable a frequency communications channel of the multiple satellite communication transponder groups not to generate mutual interference when the frequency values allocated to each satellite communications transponder group are determined based on the pseudo noise sequence, and for allocating the frequencies to each satellite communications transponder group according to the determined frequency value.
