PURPOSE: A carrier wave gain controlling apparatus of a satellite communication system and method thereof are provided to efficiently compensate the amount of rain fall attenuation in uplink and downlink. CONSTITUTION: A satellite repeater(130) measures the first receiving level of a discrete carrier wave. The satellite repeater calculates the amount of rain fall attenuation based on the first receiving level. A satellite receiver(120) measures the second receiving level of the discrete carrier wave. The satellite receiver calculates the amount of rain fall attenuation.

PURPOSE: A device for separating overlapped frequency transceiving signal and a satellite communication using the same are provided to use frequency twice in satellite communication which has inefficient frequency resource. CONSTITUTION: A phase/delay estimator(140) estimates phase error and transmission path delay time from a duplicated signal. A phase/delay controller(130) performs FIFO(First In First Out) timing control. A modulation signal generator(110) converts the compensated transmission data into a modulated signal. A pre-distorter(120) distorts the modulated signal. A frequency shifter(150) performs frequency shift for the pre-distorted modulated signal. An adder(160) eliminates the frequency shifted modulated signal from the overlapped signal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multi-channel orthogonal digital signal processing transponder apparatus and a method thereof which distribute frequency values to each satellite communications transponder group by an orthogonal processing algorithm not to enable a frequency value of each satellite transponder group to collide to each other in the operation of multiple satellite communications transponder groups, and process a forbidden band for protecting satellite communications transponders from a jamming signal which is an obstruction signal. The satellite communications transponder according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises: a pseudo noise sequence generation unit for generating a pseudo noise sequence; a forbidden band processing unit for generating predetermined forbidden band information when interference information is received; and a transponder processing unit for determining a frequency value of each satellite communications transponder group to enable a frequency communications channel of the multiple satellite communication transponder groups not to generate mutual interference when the frequency values allocated to each satellite communications transponder group are determined based on the pseudo noise sequence, and for allocating the frequencies to each satellite communications transponder group according to the determined frequency value.

PURPOSE: An active repeater for anti-jamming and a method thereof are provided to reconfigure a hopping frequency in a frequency band except a frequency of a jamming frequency band. CONSTITUTION: A jamming information reception unit(220) receives jamming frequency band information from a ground control station, and a hopping frequency reconfiguring unit(230) uses the received jamming frequency band information to extract a hopping frequency band except the jamming frequency band from the whole frequency bands of an active repeater. The hopping frequency reconfiguration unit reconfigures the hopping frequency of the active repeater within the extracted hopping frequency band.
