Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for improving unobserved area of a clutter map-based radar system, and the method for improving the unobserved area of the radar system includes the steps of: (a) forming a clutter map by a process of setting a lowest altitude capable of beam transmission and a process of setting a waveform in a transmittable beam grid and setting an unobserved area; (b) updating the clutter map during regular searching. Thus, the present invention can improve low altitude detection performance without increasing frame time by reducing the unobserved area due to a clutter signal of an antenna side lobe.
