Abstract: PURPOSE: A vehicle muffler with a twin tail type muffler tip is provided to reduce exhaust booming and exhaust resistance of exhaust gas with the muffler tip in which an expansion pipe, an intake pipe, and a discharge pipe of a discharging tube are arranged to be parallel, and a sound absorbing material is applied, and a discharging passage of the exhaust gas is extended by an intermediate tube. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle muffler with a twin tail type muffler tip comprises a case(10), a first baffle plate(31), a second baffle plate(32), a third baffle plate(33), first to fourth chambers, an air supply tube, an exhaust tube, a discharge tube(60), an intermediate tube(70), and a twin tailor type muffler tip(90). The first, second, and third baffle plates are installed in an inner space of the case of which both ends are closed. The first to fourth chambers are formed by the baffles plates. The air supply tube, the exhaust tube, and the intermediate tube penetrate through the baffle plates. The discharge tube is extended to the outside of the case. The twin tail type muffler tip including a first discharging pipe(92a) and a second discharging pipe(92b) which have a form which is branched into two pieces is mounted in the outlet of the discharge tube.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust system of a vehicle is provided to remove rasping noise caused by shock waves due to the abnormal flow of exhaust gas flowing through an exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION: A muffler is connected to an exhaust manifold through an exhaust pipe(10). A unit for reducing a flow section is formed in the middle of an exhaust line at the front side of a chamber. The unit for reducing the flow section is formed in the exhaust pipe at the front side of the muffler. The unit for reducing the flow section is formed by inserting a cap(12) with a hole(12a) into the exhaust pipe. The cap is inserted into a flange(11) that the muffler is coupled. The unit for reducing the flow section is formed in a muffler pipe at the front side of the chamber.
