Abstract: The present invention relates to a hood over slam bumper assembly, including an over slam bumper which has cylindrical screw thread on the outer peripheral surface thereof; a carrier in which a hole is formed in the center and an over slam bumper being is inserted into the inner surface, and screw thread joined to a screw thread groove is formed on the inner circumferential surface; and a housing in which one side is fixed to an insertion hole formed in a hood inner panel, a hole is formed in the center, and a ring carrier is inserted into the inner surface, and an elastic unit is formed on the outer peripheral surface to fix the inserted ring carrier. Therefore, when a load is applied in a horizontal direction by a collision, the bumper assembly is separated toward an outer panel due to the deformation of a spring, thereby securing a shock-absorbing space. Moreover, re-assembly and re-use after a collision is possible by preventing damage to the overhead slam bumper assembly even though a load applied in a horizontal direction.
