Abstract: 본 발명은 돼지 중 육질이 우수한 산청흑돼지와 요크셔의 조직을 샘플링한 후 이 샘플을 품종별, 조직별, 성장단계별 유전자 발현양상을 분석하여 성장과 육질에 관련된 특이 유전자를 확보한 후 상기 특이 유전자를 이용하여 성장과 육질이 우수한 종돈을 조기에 선발하는 방법에 관한 것이다.

Abstract: A specific gene for diagnosing pig growth and the diagnosis of meat quality is provided to early select excellent pig species by obtaining the specific gene related to growth and meat quality. A method for obtaining a specific gene for diagnosing growth and meat quality of pig comprises: a step of building a cDNA library using muscle and fat tissue of Sus scrofa, designing and analyzing cDNA microarray; a step of collecting muscle and fat from Sus scrofa and Yorkshire and making tissue sample; a step of cloning a gene from the tissue sample; a step of analyzing full-sequence; a step of isolating total RNA; a step of synthesizing first strand cDNA using superscript II reverse transcriptase; and a step of performing statistical analysis.
