    Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet is provided to have excellent punching processability time even in case of having a relatively flexible pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and excellent step-difference absorption ability. CONSTITUTION: An optical pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a separator on at least one side of the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The separator has the Young's modulus of 2GPa or larger along the direction of machine and transverse direction, the rupture strength of 400MPa or less along the direction of machine and transverse direction, the thickness of 70-250micron, the release force to the pressure-sensitive adhesive of 0.8 N/50mm or more at the release test of 180deg. under the tensile rate of 30 m/minute. The pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having storage modulus of 1.0×10^4-1.0×10^14Pa at -30deg.C.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has 90% or more of total light transmittance, and 3% or less of haze, and has total amount of acrylate ion and methacrylate ion extracted by a pure water under conditions of 100 °C and 45 minutes is 300 ng/cm^2 per unit area of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer measured by an ion chromatograph method.
