Abstract:
The present invention relates to a recombinant protein including epitope of avian reovirus sigma C protein and an antibody thereto. More specifically, the present invention relates to a recombinant protein including epitope of avian reovirus sigma C protein, a gene encoding the recombinant protein, an expression vector including the gene, a host cell transformed by the expression vector, a method for preparing the recombinant protein, an antibody recognizing epitope of avian reovirus sigma C protein and a method for preparing the same, a vaccine composition for treating and preventing avian reovirus infection including the recombinant protein as an effective component, a pharmaceutical composition or a feed composition treating or preventing avian reovirus infection including the antibody to the recombinant protein as an effective component, and a method for treating or preventing avian reovirus by injecting the vaccine composition or the pharmaceutical composition. The recombinant protein including epitope of avian reovirus sigma C protein and the antibody to the same can be useful in more efficiently treating and preventing avian reovirus injection.

More specifically, the present invention relates to a recombinant protein including epitope of fowl adenovirus fiber 2 protein, a gene coding the recombinant protein, an expression vector including the gene, a host cell transformed by the expression vector, a manufacturing method of the recombinant protein, an antibody recognizing the epitope of fowl adenovirus fiber 2 protein, a manufacturing method of the antibody, a vaccine composition for treating or preventing fowl adenovirus infection including the recombinant protein as an active ingredient, a pharmaceutical composition or a feed composition for treating or preventing fowl adenovirus including the antibody to the recombinant protein as an active ingredient, and a method for treating or preventing fowl adenovirus infection by injecting the vaccine composition or the pharmaceutical composition to animals except for humans. According to the present invention, recombinant fowl adenovirus fiber 2 protein and the antibody to recombinant fowl adenovirus fiber 2 protein can be used for efficiently treating or preventing fowl adenovirus infection.
