Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling viscoelasticity of emulsion type cosmetics using extract of Astragalus membranaceus is provided to obtain an antioxidant effect and offer technology which improves viscoelasticity of emulsion. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling viscoelasticity of emulsion type cosmetics improves viscoelasticity of emulsion and obtains an antioxidant effect at the same time by including extract of Astragalus membranaceus. The emulsion comprises a normal emulsifier. The extract of Astragalus membranaceus is extracted by using 1,3-butylene glycol as an extraction solvent. Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing Prunella vulgaris PSE extract is provided to ensure antioxidative and antibacterial effects. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing Prunella vulgaris PSE(pressed solvent extract) extract with antioxidative and antibacterial effects comprises: a step of pulverizing Prunella vulgaris; a step of injecting Prunella vulgaris using low carbon number alcohol, acetone, chloroform, methylene chloride, hexane, 1,3-butylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, glycerol, propylene glycol, or mixture solvent thereof; a step of extracting at 10-100°C using a PSE extractor for 30 minutes to 5 hours; and a step of filtering the extract solution at 10-100°C. A cosmetic composition with antioxidative and antibacterial effects contains the Prunella vulgaris PSE extract as an active ingredient. The composition is manufactured in a form of a lotion, skin, nutrition lotion, nutrition cream, essence, pack, cleansing agent, soap, and treatment.

CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for preventing and treating skin injury due to UV ray contains 0.01-50 wt% of Syngnathoides biaculeatus extract. The extract is a hot water extract. The hot water extract is prepared by adding Syngnathoides biaculeatus to water, shaking for 3 horus, and filtering with No.2 filter paper. The yield of extract is 15.82%. The antioxidative composition is used in the form of a lotion, cream, and shampoo.
