    Abstract: A structure for reducing noise in an exhaust pipe is provided to substitute for a conventional muffler by stacking branch pipes having the shape of hemispheres of different radius and thereby reducing noise of various frequency bands, thus increasing space utilization, and to reduce manufacturing costs due to the reduction of the number of parts, and to increase durability against external shocks. An exhaust system includes an exhaust pipe(10) which is a gas discharge path extending from an engine to the outside. A structure for reducing noise in the exhaust system is constructed so that branch pipes(20,30,40) having the shape of hemispheres of different radiuses are provided on one end of the exhaust pipe in such a way as to be stacked. The plurality of branch pipes is provided on the exhaust pipe, thus reducing noise of various frequency bands. The length of the branch pipes provided on the exhaust pipe is increased toward the stacking direction.
