Abstract:
PURPOSE: A container carrier and a ballast management method thereof are provided to remove the need of a ballast water treatment device in a container carrier by using clean water as ballast water or employing a container filled with a solid material. CONSTITUTION: A container carrier comprises a container and a ballast tank(20). The container has a standardized size to be used as ballast and is filled with a solid material. The ballast tank is filled with ballast water for keeping the balance of the carrier.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A penetration piece for a pipe in a ship is provided to match the service life of a pipe with the service life of a penetration piece by being formed of a GRE(Glass fiber Reinforced Epoxy), thereby conveniently replacing the penetration piece. CONSTITUTION: A penetration piece(100) for a pipe in a ship comprises a GRE pipe(200), a steel sleeve(400), and saddles(300). The penetration piece penetrates through a bulkhead of a tank installed in a ship. The steel sleeve surrounds the exterior of the GRE pipe passing through the bulkhead. A space is formed in between the GRE pipe and the steel sleeve. To seal the space, the saddles are formed on both ends of the steel sleeve and surround the exterior of the GRE pipe.

본 발명은 밸러스트로 사용하기 위한 컨테이너를 포함하는 컨테이너 운반선 및 컨테이너 운반선의 밸러스트 운용 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 컨테이너 운반선은, 선박의 평형을 유지하기 위한 밸러스트로 사용할 수 있도록 화물용 컨테이너 크기로 규격화되고, 내부에는 고형 물질이 충전된 컨테이너; 선박의 평형을 유지하기 위한 밸러스트 수가 충전될 수 있는 밸러스트 탱크; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이러한 구성에 따르면, 밸러스트로서 화물용 컨테이너 크기로 규격화되고 내부에는 고형 물질이 충전된 컨테이너를 사용하거나 또는 청수를 밸러스트 수로서 사용함으로써, 밸러스트 수로 사용된 해수를 처리하기 위한 밸러스트 수 처리 장치를 컨테이너 운반선에 보유할 필요가 없게 된다. 따라서, 컨테이너 운반선의 초기 투자비용 및 유지비용을 현저히 감소시킬 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A container carrier and a ballast management method thereof are provided to temporarily install a ballast water treatment device when the container carrier arrives at a harbor instead of permanent installation of the ballast water treatment device in a container carrier. CONSTITUTION: A container carrier comprises a ballast tank(20), a ballast water treatment device(30), and a connection pipe(40). The ballast tank is filled with ballast water for keeping the balance of the carrier. The ballast water treatment device has a standardized size suitable for a container and is detachably installed in the container carrier. The connection pipe is communicated with the ballast tank and connects to the ballast water treatment device, thereby processing ballast water.
