Abstract: The present invention relates to a balance training system for a rehabilitation patient through the active control of a base of support (BOS) and a method for balance training using the same. The balance training system can effectively improve the balance maintaining ability of the elderly, nervous system patients like stroke patients and Parkinson′s disease patients by allowing the patients to actively learn the control of a BOS which is a major factor among daily life balance functions.
