Abstract: PURPOSE: A recombinant nucleocapsid protein of avian metaneumovirus expressed in insect cells is provided to be used in serum diagnosis regardless of species and to monitor diseases in a poultry farm. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing avian metapneumovirus infection comprises a step of detecting an avian metapneumovirus antigen from a test sample through ELISA using an antigen produced in hybridoma cell line of deposit number KCLRF-BP-00195. The test sample is serum or an egg yolk from a chicken or turkey. A method for diagnosing avian metaneumovirus infection comprises: a step of coating a recombinant nucleocapsid protein antigen on an ELISA plate; a step of removing a reaction residue using a washing buffer solution; a step of conjugating test serum and monoclonal antibody on the ELISA plate; a step of removing a reaction residue using washing buffer solution; a step of adding a horseradish peroxydase-conjugated anti-mouse secondary antibody; and a step of measuring absorbance.
