Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for breeding food of oriusspp and a breeding apparatus thereof are provided to more safely and effectively supply a large amount of cadra cautella instead of plant louse or mite. CONSTITUTION: The method for breeding food of oriusspp and a breeding apparatus thereof is comprised of steps of; uniformly covering the bottom of a larvae breeding container with feed, and spreading eggs of cadra cautella; extracting a lump of mixed pupae and feed when the eggs become pupae within the breeding container maintaining a temperature of 25deg.C, and fixing the lump with a pupae protecting member with interposing it between iron nets(5,5'); storing the iron nets on the upper end of a light permissible imago eclosion frame(10) with loops; and collecting eggs dropped from the imagoes in a box(40).
