Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for keeping properties of soluble cutting oil is provided to regulate specific gravity within 0.001 by applying a proximity sensor and to prevent completely rotting of the cutting oil. CONSTITUTION: In a device for keeping properties of soluble cutting oil, cutting oil additive components are adsorbed on various kinds of metal chips and removed, and accordingly the material property of the cutting oil is reduced greatly. The device for keeping properties of soluble cutting oil examines the amount of the cutting oil additive components adsorbed on iron, brass, and aluminum chips and checks the supplement amount for holding properly the material properties of the cutting oil. Isopropyl alcohol used as a coupling agent and benzotriazol, which are adsorbed well, are supplemented two or three times as much as diethanolamine that is reference component in a crude liquid of the cutting oil.
