Abstract: PURPOSE: A method is provided to obtain an anisotropic NdFeB permanent magnet having superior magnetic characteristics through a single stage hot deformation process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an anisotropic NdFeB permanent magnet is characterized in that an anisotropic NdFeB magnet powder is mixed with zinc(Zn) or aluminum(Al) as an additive. A single stage hot deformation process is adopted, and 0.2 to 1 weight percent zinc of 2 micron meter or lower, or 0.2 to 1 weight percent aluminum with respect to the anisotropic NdFeB magnet powder 100g is added to the NdFeB magnet powder. The additive is added individually, or 0.2 to 2 weight percent mixture of Zn and Al(wherein the weight ratio of Zn:Al is 2:1 to 2:3) is added.
