    Abstract: The present invention relates to a peptide nucleic acid set for identifying skate ray species and a skate ray species identification method using the same, and more specifically, to a method of identifying skate ray species by hybridizing more than one peptide nucleic acid (PNA) composed of more than one base sequence selected from a base sequence group composed of SEQ ID NO: 1-6 with a skate ray DNA sample and obtaining a melting curve per temperature by increasing the temperature of the hybridized product. From the obtained melting temperature of the melting curve, it is possible to identify the skate ray species. The present invention as described above uses PNA having an excellent binding force with DNA so as to indicate different melting temperatures for each skate ray species, thereby having the effects of simply, promptly, and accurately identifying the skate ray species.
