Abstract: A discrimination method of growing district of herbal medicine is provided to analysis the metabolite mixture without DNA analysis or standard material and discriminate the growing district of the herbal medicine. A method for discriminating the growing district of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. Comprises: a step of extracting metabolite from a plurality of groups of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. Sample; a step of analyzing the metabolite with 1H NMR(Nuclear magnetic resonance) spectroscopy; a step of converting the analyzed result of 1H NMR; a step of analyzing the converted value with multivariate analysis; a step of detecting the difference among the groups and establishing standard model; a step of discriminating the growing district; and a step of analyzing the metabolite from the Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. and verifying the growing district.
