Abstract: A method of watermarking 3D CAD(Computer Aided Design) image is provided to improve subjective texture and objective texture and extract a watermark without error against attacks such as file format conversion, RST(Rotation, Scaling, Translation), component removal and layer removal. Information to be embedded in a 3D CAD image is generated in the form of a binary bit watermark. An object line into which the watermark is inserted is set among line components. A watermark insertion intensity of the object line is obtained. The length of the object line is varied in the range of the insertion intensity according to the binary bit watermark. It is confirmed whether the varied line satisfies an insertion angle condition.
