Abstract: A 3D(Dimensional) stereoscopic game system is provided to execute a 3D game and a stereoscopic game through a stereoscopic display device without including a 3D game system and a stereoscopic game system separately by executing the 3D game and the stereoscopic game alternatively according to selection of a user. A game database(19) stores a 3D stereoscopic game to be switched into the 3D game and the stereoscopic game. A 3D game engine module(12) executes the 3D game by rendering the 3D stereoscopic game. A both-eye stereoscopic module(14) executes the stereoscopic game by rendering the 3D stereoscopic game. A switch(11) selects operation of the 3D game engine module and the both-eye stereoscopic module. The both-eye stereoscopic module includes a both-eye stereoscopic renderer(15) generating an image corresponding to both eyes by rendering the 3D stereoscopic game in consideration of a space between cameras and a view angle, a stereoscopic decoder(16) compressing/restoring the image generated in the both-eye renderer, and a stereoscopic image representer(17) generating the image suitable for a stereoscopic monitor(18) by using compressed/restored image data.
