Abstract: A hemicyanin styryl thiol/disulfide dye is provided to prevent the damage of keratin fiber, to ensure resistivity to successive shampooing, and to obtain decolorizing effect from keratin-fiber of dark color. A solvate like fluorescent dye, its organic or inorganic acid salts, optical isomer and geometrical isomer, and hydrate has a structure represented by the following chemical formula (I) or (II). In the chemical formula (I) and (II), n is 1 or 2; m is 0 or 1; Ra and Rb may be identical or different and are hydrogen atom or C1-C4 alkyl group; R^1 shows hydrogen atom or (C1-C6) alkyl group; and R^2 and R^3 may be identical or different and are hydrogen or halogen atom, substituted (C1-C6) alkyl group, (C1-C6) alkoxy group or (C1-C6) alkylthio group.

A cationic azo dye containing a julolidine unit is represented by the formula I, wherein A is a cationic aromatic heterocycle group represented by the formula IIa, IIb or IIc; R1 is independently a linear or branched saturated or unsaturated C1-C16 hydrocarbon group which is optionally interrupted by at least one group selected from a hetero atom such as O, N or S and a carbonyl group, can be substituted and can be condensed with an aromatic ring to form a three to seven-membered carbon ring; R2 are independently a linear or branched saturated or unsaturated C1-C16 hydrocarbon group referred above, a hydroxyl group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group, a C2-C4 (poly)hydroxyalkoxy group, etc.; m is an integer of 0-4; e is an integer of 0-2; p is 0 or 1; x is an integer of 0-2; y is an integer of 0-6; and z is an integer of 0-6.
