Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing monosaccharide is provided to reduce or prevent skin aging or aging sign and to promote keratinocyte proliferation without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A composition for reducing and preventing skin aging contains mannose, rhamnose, and monosaccharide of mixture thereof. The monosaccharide is used in reducing and preventing fine wrinkle, skin elasticity reduction, collagen fiber decomposition, skin internal decomposition. The composition is used by skin injection in a sterilization solution. An apparatus which is suitable for injecting into epidermis, dermis, and/or subcutaneous site contains the monosaccharide.
