Abstract: PURPOSE: A surfaced treated transparent chip and resin-based reinforced natural stone using the same are provided to obtain a transparent chip with natural metal texture by treating the surface of a silica-contained transparent chip with the colored material of metal powder. CONSTITUTION: A chip for reinforced natural stone includes metal texture and is obtained by treating the surface of a silica-contained transparent chip with the colored material of metal powder. The silica-contained transparent chip is one or more selected from a group including broken-stone chip, quartz, quartz-silica chip, silica-based stone dust, quartz glass, synthetic quartz, silica, silicon dioxide, silica glass, and mirror. The colored material of the metal powder is one or more selected from a group including gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and nickel powder.

Abstract: 본발명은실리카성분을함유하는투명칩을고투명수지와함께금속분말의유색재료로표면처리하여천연의금속질감을갖는투명칩을제조하기위한것이다. 상기고투명수지는 ASTM D 4890 시험법을적용하여측정한 APHA 색상인덱스가 10~70인것이바람직하다. 상기금속분말의유색재료로표면처리된금속질감을갖는강화천연석용칩에베이스수지로서고분자매트릭스수지와무기충전재를혼합하여본 발명에따른천연의금속질감과패턴을갖는강화인조대리석을제조한다. 본발명에서제조된표면처리된금속질감을갖는강화천연석용칩은비중이 2.0 내지 2.65 범위이고, 모스경도가 5 내지 9 범위인것이바람직하다. 상기금속분말의유색재료로표면처리된금속질감을갖는강화천연석용칩의비중은 2.0 내지 2.65 범위이고, 매트릭스수지의비중은 2.2 내지 2.8 범위인데, 상기칩의비중이매트릭스수지의비중보다작거나동일해야한다.
