Abstract:
PURPOSE: Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CHO104 with antagonistic property and an antimicrobial compound produced thereby are provided. The novel antimicrobial compound can be useful in medicines, agricultural chemicals, foods, etc. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CHO104(KCTC 18060P) isolated from the soil produces an antimicrobial compound. A microbial preparation containing Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CHO104 is prepared by culturing Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CHO104 in SDBP(soy dextrose beef ex. proteose peptone) medium at 30 to 35 deg. C. The novel antimicrobial compound, Amyloliquetone, is produced by the steps of: separating the supernatant of the cultured medium of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CHO104; collecting an ethylacetate-soluble acidic·neutral fraction from the supernatant by adding 1N HCl; collecting an ethylacetate-soluble neutral fraction by adding 2 to 5% NaHCO3; subjecting the ethylacetate-soluble neutral fraction to an adsorption chromatography on silica gel to obtain an active fraction; and subjecting the active fraction to octadecylsilane column chromatography and HPLC, sequentially.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A microbial preparation added to feedstuff of livestock and used for the treatment of excreta of livestock is provided, thereby preventing diarrhea of livestock and decreasing BOD of the excreta of livestock. CONSTITUTION: The microbial preparation added to feedstuff of livestock and used for the treatment of excreta of livestock comprises 10 to 70 wt.% of Azospirillum sp. (KCTC 8989P), 1 to 60 wt.% of Streptococcus thermophilus (KCTC 8988P) and 1 to 60 wt.% of Bacillus subtilis (KCTC 8990P). The yeast and Corynebacterium glutamicum (KCTC 3339) can be further added into the microbial preparation when it is added into livestock feedstuff. The Rhodospirillum rubrum (KCTC-1372), Thiobacillus denitrificans (KCCM 31224) and Nitrosomonas europaea (KCTC 2704) can be further added into the microbial preparation when it is added into the livestock feedstuff.

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing an improved functional beverage made of soybean paste by adding chitosan and chitooligosaccharide, for globalization of the traditional fermented food. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an improved functional beverage made of soybean paste is characterized by the following steps: i) manufacturing a soybean paste by using Bacillus subtilis CHO99 (KCTC-18052P) which does not smell during fermentation; ii) adding 1.0-4.0wt% of water to the soybean paste; iii) liquefying the paste with one enzyme selected from alpha-amylase, beta-amylase, and cellulase and fermenting the liquefied paste with yeast; and iv) adding sweeteners and spices to 3.0-50.0wt% of water.

본 발명품은 생물 현상 중의 하나인 삼투를 분자운동모형을 통해 보임으로써 삼투 개념을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 돕는 것을 목적으로 한다. 일반적으로 학생들은 삼투를 어렵게 어기고 있으며 실제로 이해 수준이 매우 낮다. 그 이유 중의 하나는 삼투를 일으키는 분자운동을 육안으로 확인하기 불가능하다는 점 때문이다. 본 발명은 제1도와 같이 무색투명한 직사각형 아크릴 상자(100)와 분자 모형인 구슬들(S)(L) 그리고 철망(200)으로 구성되어 있다. 상자(100)를 좌우로 심하게 흔들면 작은 구슬(S)이 철망을 통해 이동함으로써 학생들에게 삼투현상을 쉽게 보일 수 있다. 즉, 처음에는 제1도와 같이 높이를 유지한 상태에서 상자를 흔들면 (나)의 높이가 올라가게 된다. 이것은 (가)쪽의 작은 구슬은 쉽게 망을 통과할 수 있는 반면, 큰 구슬이 있는 (나)쪽에서는 망을 통과할 수 있는 작은 구슬의 양이 적을 뿐 아니라 그 작은 구슬의 이동 또한 큰 구슬에 의해 방해를 받기 때문이다. 이 실험장치를 사용하여 모방된 (simluated)분자운동과 그 결과를 관찰함으로써, 학생들은 삼투현상을 쉽게 이해할 수 있고 그 장치를 가지고 직접 활동함으로써, 학생들은 삼투현상을 쉽게 이해할 수 있고 그 장치를 가지고 직접 활동함으로써 학습에 대한 흥미와 참여도를 높일 수 있다.
