Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing herb moxa is provided to place the moxa on spots on the body suitable for acupuncture to increase treatment efficiency for patient by preparing a conical form of combined materials in a desired weight ratio of one another. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a first step of drying and grinding whites, clove buds and Santalum album to obtain fibrous materials; a second step of extracting bamboo juice and Oriental arborvitae juice; a third step of extracting the remaining bamboo juice in bottom portion of a combustion chamber after extraction of the bamboo juice; a forth step of admixing 15wt.% of ground whites, 15wt.% of ground Santalum album, 10wt.% of bamboo juice, 15wt.% of Oriental arborvitae juice, 15wt.% of musk and 5wt.% of bamboo charcoal powders; and a fifth step of forming a conical shape of product from the admixed materials.
