    Abstract: PURPOSE: A broadband transmission line-waveguide transition apparatus is provided to perform phase and impedance matching between a transmission line and waveguide through a cavity matching part, thereby securing wider bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: A waveguide is comprised of a single dielectric substrate. A transmission line applies a signal to the waveguide. A cavity is formed as a metal surface in the inner surface of a part of the waveguide in order to be touched with the transmission line. A cavity matching part(15) adjusts impedance by varying a size and shape of the cavity and performs impedance matching between the waveguide and transmission line. The cavity matching part performs phase matching between the waveguide and transmission line by varying the position of the cavity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A dielectric resonator antenna embedded in a multilayer substrate is provided to reduce the change of antenna characteristics due to a process error while easily being manufactured. CONSTITUTION: A multilayer substrate has a plurality of insulating layers and conductive layers which are laminated alternately.
