A method for preparing a toner, a toner prepared by the method, a method for forming an image by using the toner, and an apparatus for forming an image using the toner are provided to improve the dispersion of a pigment even without using a dispersant and improve charge characteristics and transfer property. A method for preparing a toner comprises the steps of polymerizing a toner composition comprising a macromonomer having a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group and containing at least one reactive functional group and at least one polymerizable monomer, so as to prepare a latex particle for a core containing a wax; mixing the latex particle for a core with a self-dispersing pigment dispersion and adding an inorganic salt to prepare a first cohesion toner; and coating a latex particle for a shell layer on the first cohesion toner.

PURPOSE: An electro-photographic toner and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to control the content of wax exposed to the surface of the toner, and to improve the durability and fixation property of the toner. CONSTITUTION: An electro-photographic toner contains a latex, a colorant, and a releasing agent. The area rate of a protrusion unit with the height over 100 nanometers from the surface area of the toner is 5~15%. The electro-photographic toner additionally contains 3~1,000ppm of Si and Fe in a molar ratio(Si/Fe) is 0.1~5. The electro-photographic toner includes the average molecular weight of 60~75k while analyzing through a GPC(gel chromatography).

A method for preparing toner is provided to ensure low temperature fixation and durability of the final toner with simple process and excellent particle size distribution, and to control the shape and surface state of toner. A method for preparing toner comprises a step for manufacturing the first latex particles by polymerizing a macro monomer containing at least one active functional group and having hydrophilic groups and hydrophobic groups, at least one polymerizable monomer, and a toner composition containing wax; a step for mixing the first latex particles in the pigment dispersion dispersed with the macro monomer and adding inorganic salts to prepare the first coherence toner; and a step for covering the second latex particles obtained by polymerizing a composition of forming the second latex particles containing at least one polymerizable monomers and crosslinkable monomers on the first coherence toner.

PURPOSE: A toner for developing electrostatic images, a method for preparing the same, a toner supplying apparatus using the toner, and an image forming apparatus using the same are provided to improve the image characteristic of toner. CONSTITUTION: A toner for developing electrostatic images includes binder resins, a coloring agent, and a releasing agent. The binder resins include two kinds of binder resins with different weight average molecular weights. The toner has one or more endothermic peaks at secondary rising curve of differential scanning calorimetry measurement by melting the releasing agent. The endothermic peaks have main endothermic peaks in a range about 70-100 degrees Celsius and auxiliary endothermic peaks in the form of a separate peak or shoulder in a range about 60-80 degrees Celsius. A toner supplying apparatus(100) implements operational processes based on the toner.

PURPOSE: A toner for developing electrostatic image, and a method for preparing the same are provided to include an average molecular weight less than 75,000, thereby maintaining fixing characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A toner for electrostatic image developing comprises latex, a coloring agent and a release agent. In much than 0°C of storage elastic modulus and loss elastic modulus, the lowest cross temperature is about 65-80°C. The toner for electrostatic image developing has weight average molecular volume of about 65,000-75,000 and z- average molecular weight of about 110,000-220,000. Latex particle, pigment distributing solution and release agent distributing solution are mixed. Coagulant is added to mixing solution. A first coherence toner is heated over glass transition temperature of the latex particle. A supply unit(103) is installed at a lower portion of a toner tank(101), and discharges the toner stored in the toner tank.
