PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an electrophotographic toner is provided to ensure small diameter, narrow particle size distribution, to realize low temperature fixation, and to obtain a toner with excellent thermal storage and color development. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrophotographic toner comprises the steps of: preparing a mixed solution by mixing first latex particles, colorant dispersion solution and release agent dispersion solution; preparing a first aggregation toner by adding a coagulant to the mixed solution; and preparing a second aggregation toner by coating the second latex particles on the first aggregation toner.

A toner manufacturing method and a toner manufactured by the same are provided to control a size and a shape of a toner with ease, supply the toner with superior low temperature adhesion, storing property, cleaning property and durability, and implement high quality images by receiving a toner with superior matter property. A toner manufacturing method comprises the following steps of: forming polymer latex particles by polymerizing toner compositions including macromonomers, polymerisable monomers, chain transfer agents and initiators having hydrophilic groups and hydrophobic groups and including one or more reactive functional groups; agglomerating the polymer latex particles; and separating and drying the polymerized toner. The polymerisable monomers are selected from two or more groups of a first group of which glass transition temperature is between 30°C and 40°C and where a molecular weight is less than 20,000, a second group of which glass transition temperature is between 40°C and 50°C and where a molecular weight is about 20,000 to 40,000, a third group of which glass transition temperature is between 50°C and 60°C and where a molecular weight is about 40,000 to 50,000, and a fourth group of which glass transition temperature is between 60°C and 65°C and where a molecular weight is about 50,000 to 100,000.

PURPOSE: A toner for electrostatic latent images and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the glossy property and the heat storing property of the toner by strictly controlling the miscibility of toner materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a toner(208) for electrostatic latent images includes the following: A first binder particle, a coloring agent dispersing solution, and a releasing agent dispersing solution containing two or more kinds of releasing agents are mixed to obtain a mixed solution. A coagulant agent is added to the mixed solution in order to form a core layer containing a first coagulated toner. A shell layer includes a second binder particle which is obtained by polymerizing one or more polymerizable monomers. The shell layer covers the coating layer to obtain a second coagulated toner.

A method for preparing a toner is provided to allow control of the particle diameter of a toner, to improve the practice diameter distribution and transfer property of a toner, and to realize various colors by a single process. A method for preparing a toner comprises the steps of: forming a stabilizer dispersion by using distilled water and a dispersant; discharging a toner composition comprising at least one polymerizable monomer, colorant, wax and initiator into the stabilizer dispersion through a syringe nozzle to form liquid droplets; heating the droplets dispersed in the stabilizer dispersion in a reactor to form core particles; and adding a polymerizable monomer, crosslinking agent and initiator to the core particles to form a shell.

PURPOSE: An electrophotographic toner is provided to ensure low temperature fixation, fixation property, heat storage and anti-offset property, and high glossiness and to reduce harmfulness for environment and human body. CONSTITUTION: An electrophotographic toner includes a latex, colorant, wax, Si and Fe. The toner has 3-1,000 ppm Si and Fe. A molar ratio of Si/Fe may be about 0.1 to about 5. The fixation property of toner satisfies the condition of chemical formula 1 and chemical formula 2. In chemical formulas, MFTA represents a minimum fixation temperature in a low speed printing of 160 mm/sec. MFTB represents a minimum fixation temperature in a high speed printing of 290 mm/sec. HOTA represents a hot offset temperature in a low speed printing of 160 mm/sec. HOTB represents a hot offset temperature in a high speed printing of 290 mm/sec.

PURPOSE: A toner for developing electrostatic images, a method for preparing the same, a toner supplying apparatus using the toner, and an image forming apparatus using the same are provided to improve the image characteristic of toner. CONSTITUTION: A toner for developing electrostatic images includes binder resins, a coloring agent, and a releasing agent. The binder resins include two kinds of binder resins with different weight average molecular weights. The toner has one or more endothermic peaks at secondary rising curve of differential scanning calorimetry measurement by melting the releasing agent. The endothermic peaks have main endothermic peaks in a range about 70-100 degrees Celsius and auxiliary endothermic peaks in the form of a separate peak or shoulder in a range about 60-80 degrees Celsius. A toner supplying apparatus(100) implements operational processes based on the toner.

A toner, a method for forming an image by using the toner, and an apparatus for forming an image by using the toner are provided to reduce the hydrophobicity of the surface of a toner, thereby improving fluidity. A toner comprises a primary coherence toner which comprises a latex particle for a core, a pigment and an inorganic salt; and a latex particle for a shell layer which is coated on the primary coherence toner, wherein the latex particle for a core and the latex particle for a shell layer is obtained by polymerizing a composition comprising an amphiphilic monomer having a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group and containing at least one reactive functional group and at least one polymerizable monomer, and the toner has a degree of coherence of 50 or less (ASTM D 6393-99).
