Abstract:
The present invention provides a reagent container capable of maintaining the stability of a reagent, a manufacturing method of the reagent container, a method for storing the reagent, and a micro-fluid system which performs cell capture, destruction, and nucleic acid extraction and amplification. According to the method for storing the reagent, the stability of the reagent is maintained and the activity is maintained in a reaction using the reagent.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for enhancing amplification nucleic acids, to a composition and a kit for amplifying nucleic acids which suppress nucleic acid amplification inhibitors, and to a depressant for nucleic acid amplification inhibitors. The present invention can rapidly detect target microorganisms, cells or genes among biological samples with high amplification efficiencies or high sensitivity and be used for accurate molecular diagnosis. Abstract:
PURPOSE: A solid reagent dissolving device and a method of dissolving a solid reagent using the same are provided to increase reproducibility by completely dissolving the solid reagent. CONSTITUTION: A solid reagent dissolving device includes a flexible membrane (M1), an upper substrate (U1), and a lower substrate (L1). The upper substrate is arranged on the flexible membrane, and the lower substrate is arranged under the flexible membrane. A plurality of microchannels (C1,C2), a dissolution chamber (48), and protrusions (42,44) are arranged on the upper substrate. The dissolution chamber is in connection with the microchannels. The protrusions block the flow of fluid through the microchannels. A plurality of through holes is arranged on the lower substrate and respectively corresponds to the protrusions and the dissolution chamber. Each end of the through holes, the microchannels, and the dissolution chamber are covered with the flexible membrane. A method of dissolving a solid reagent includes the steps of: preparing a solid reagent (46) in the dissolution chamber; supplying a solid reagent dissolving solution to the dissolution chamber; and vibrating a dissolved solution.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for effectively treating a target material in a sample is provided to uniformly regulate surface-to-volume ratio (SVR) of a chamber filled with a solid support, thereby enhancing the interaction of a target material in a sample and the surface of the solid support. CONSTITUTION: A method for treating a target material in a sample comprises the steps of: introducing the sample to a first chamber containing a solid support containing a material which is conjugated with the target material; and conjugating the target material to the solid support. A microfluidic device (20) comprises a first chamber (22) including an inlet and an outlet; a second chamber (24) which is connected to a pressure providing device; and an elastic film which is placed between the first and second chambers and forms a part of a wall of the first and second chambers. During the steps, the elastic film is extended toward the first chamber by providing a positive pressure to the second chamber or the elastic film is extended toward the second chamber by providing a negative pressure to the second chamber.

PURPOSE: A method for enhancing PCR sensitivity and speed and a composition for the same are provided to quickly detect target microorganisms, cells or genes in a sample. CONSTITUTION: A method for enhancing PCR efficiency and speed comprises: a step of preparing a biological sample and PCR mixture and adding alkali to one or both; and a step of mixing the biological sample and PCR mixture and performing PCR. The biological sample includes cells, body fluid, or nucleic acids. The alkali is sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. A composition for efficient PCR contains the PCR mixture and alkali.
