Abstract: An apparatus and a method for detecting an input current of an inverter are provided to calculate the input current of a power supply through an input current calculation formula. An apparatus for detecting an input current of an inverter includes a rectifier(22), a reactor(24), a switching mode power supply(26), a smoothing condenser(28), an inverter(30), a DC voltage detector(38), and an output current detector(40). The rectifier rectifies a normal power supply(20). The reactor is located at a rear end of the rectifier. The switching mode power supply is connected to the rectifier. The smoothing condenser is connected to the rectifier to convert the voltage into DC current. The inverter drives a BLDC motor(32). The DC voltage detector detects DC voltage applied to the inverter. The output current detector detects an output current of the inverter.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A battery supply circuit is provided to compulsorily close an operation of an interleave power factor correction circuit by sensing the generation of an abnormal current of the interleave power factor correction circuit. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier(20) rectifies voltage of a power source. A power factor correction circuit(30) comprises a plurality of reactors, a plurality of switches, and a plurality of current detectors. The plurality of reactors stores a rectified current. The plurality of current detectors outputs voltage according to the current outputted from the reactor. A power factor correction circuit controller(40) controls power factor correction operation by adjusting the switching of the switch. Abstract: An inverter testing apparatus is provided to drive a switching element included in an inverter in a manufacturing process in order to verify whether the switching element is out of order in advance. An inverter testing apparatus is composed of a power supply unit, a switching unit, a loader, a current detector and a controller. The power supply unit(10) supplies the power from the outside. The switching unit(20) includes a plurality of switching elements and converts the power into AC power. The loader(30) receives the AC power and forms a closed circuit. The current detector(40) is connected between a plurality of switching units and the loader. The current detector detects the level of current. The controller applies an 'ON' signal to two switching elements. When the level of the current is out of a reference current range, the controller determines the at least one switching element to be out of order.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for detecting an input current of an inverter circuit are provided to calculate an input current of a normal power based on a current voltage and a motor output by adding a simple circuit to the inverter circuit. An apparatus for detecting an input current of an inverter circuit includes a DC(Direct Current) voltage detection unit(50), an information detection unit, and a control unit(100).
