Abstract: A fusing unit and an image forming apparatus adapting the same are provided to arrange a friction prevention member to a meandering direction of a fusing compression belt, thereby preventing the damage of the fusing compression belt from generating. A fusing unit includes a heat source. The surface of a heat roller is heated by the heat generated by the heat source. Plural compression rollers(31,35) are arranged oppositely to the heat roller and compress the recording materials fed rapidly together with the heat roller. A fusing compression belt(40) is wound at the outside of plural compression roller and forms a fusing nip contacted with the heat roller. A support member(50) supports rotatably the plural compression rollers and guides the fusing compression belt. The surface hardness of any one compression roller and the heat roller satisfies a mathematical formula. The plural compression rollers include the first compression roller and the second compression roller.
