Abstract: PURPOSE: An ink-jet head chip and an inkjet print head adopting the same are provided to prevent damage to a main pad and to the increase efficiency and expandability of the manufacturing process of the array inkjet print head. CONSTITUTION: An ink-jet head chip comprises a nozzle(132), a discharge part, a main pad(150) and a test pad(160). The ink is discharged through a plurality of nozzles. A plurality of discharge parts are electrically connected to each other in order to offer the driving signal to a plurality of discharge parts. The driving signal for test is offered among a plurality of discharge parts to a part. A plurality of nozzles comprises the main-nozzle(132) and test nozzle. The test nozzle is located and separates from main-nozzle. The test pad is electrically connected to the discharge part accomplishing the test nozzle and counterpart among the discharge part.

Abstract: An array type inkjet head and a method of manufacturing the inkjet head are provided to reduce a jetting direction difference among a plurality of nozzle chips so as to obtain a uniform image density. An array type inkjet head(100) includes a plurality of nozzle chips(110) for jetting ink. The plurality of nozzle chips have the same link droplet jetting pattern. Each nozzle chip includes nozzle holes(111) in a first line(L1) and a second lines(L2), which print a single line. The jetting pattern is a printing form on paper, which is formed according to a jetting timing variation between the first and second lines.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for detecting misalignment between pixels in an image forming apparatus are provided to focus light by using a lensed fiber, thereby exactly detecting the misalignment between pixels even during high pixel print. A light source(120) irradiates light. A lensed fiber(140) focuses the light, irradiated from the light source, onto a print medium(200) where a test pattern(210) is printed. The lensed fiber collects light reflected from the print medium. A light detector(150) detects light collected through the lensed fiber to read the test pattern. A light separating unit(130) guides the light, irradiated from the light source, in a print medium direction and guides the light, collected through the lensed fiber, in the light detector direction.
