Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of automatically generating a home-zone list in a mobile communication system is provided to simply decide a home-zone of a subscriber with only address information of the subscriber, to minimize works of a CCC(Customer Care Center), and to perform a home-zone BTS(Base Transceiver Subsystem) selection operation for empty groups, so as to optimize a subscriber home-zone list as well as generating and registering home-zone lists in any places or countries by using address information and BTS information only. CONSTITUTION: A home-zone service center selects BTSs within a predetermined distance from a home-zone subscriber residence place by using residence address information of a home-zone subscriber and location information of all BTSs(S210). The home-zone service center groups the selected BTSs into many groups according to an HAB(Home Angle from BTS) indicating directions to which the selected BTSs are toward the home-zone subscriber residence place(S220). The home-zone service center arranges the selected BTSs within the groups in order of providing the best home-zone service to the home-zone subscriber(S240). The home-zone service center decides predetermined BTSs among BTSs having high priority as home-zone BTSs according to the arranging order(S250). The home-zone service center decides service sectors for the decided home-zone BTSs to service the home-zone subscriber(S260). The home-zone service center generates a home-zone list having information of the service sectors as well as information of the decided home-zone BTSs(S280).
