Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided to minimize mutual engaging tolerance between gear units which transfers a driving force to a process cartridge when the process cartridge is mounted on a main body frame. Abstract: A developing unit and an image forming apparatus using the same are provided to prevent an image from being degraded by reducing a front pressure of a restriction blade to less than 40 gf/cm. A developing unit is mounted to an image forming apparatus including a photoresist medium and supplies a toner to the photoresist medium to form an image. The developing unit includes a housing(21), a developing roller(23), and a restriction blade. The housing is filled with the toner of a predetermined color. The developing roller is rotatably installed in the housing to face the photoresist medium and develops the image by a potential difference. A toner layer is formed on the developing roller. Abstract: An image forming apparatus and its fixing unit are provided to enhance user convenience compared with a case where a user directly manipulates a lever when a jam occurs, and reduce a fabrication cost compared with a case where a pressing force of a pressing roller is released by using a driving source. A pressing spring is connected with the pressing lever. A release unit releases a pressing force applied to the pressing roller by operating the pressing lever. A power converting unit transfers power of a main driving source for driving the heating roller to the release unit.
