Abstract: PURPOSE: A drive unit of an LCD panel for removing a flicker is provided to remove a flickering phenomenon due to unbalance between a positive analog data signal and a negative analog data signal by controlling a level of common voltage without a variable resistance. CONSTITUTION: A timing controller(110) determines an output timing of a digital data signal and outputs a source line driving signal and a gate line driving signal. An EEPROM(120) is connected with the timing controller(110). The EEPROM(120) is used for storing information of an LCD panel(160) and digital resistance data received through a serial data bus. A panel voltage supply portion(130) generates an on/off voltage of a thin film transistor and a common electrode voltage corresponding an analog resistance value. A multitude of source drive IC(140_1-140_n) provides an analog data voltage corresponding to the digital data signal to a source line of the LCD panel(160). A multitude of gate drive IC(150_1-150_m) receives the gate line driving signal from the timing controller(110) and provides the on/off voltage to a gate line of the LCD panel(160).
