Abstract: A method of connecting a Bluetooth access point to a Bluetooth device automatically and a Bluetooth access point for the connecting method are provided to connect the Bluetooth device to the Bluetooth access point automatically before a user's connection request occurs so that a user receives a Bluetooth service without a time delay and understanding by the user to a separate service procedure. Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for remote control varying compression method according to transmission rate are provided to compress and transmit remote screen information by using various image compressors according to current transmission rate. Therefore, transmission time can be minimized. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting part of a device for remote control comprises a compressor selecting part(200), a compressing part(210), and a data transmitting part(220). The compressing part(210) comprises a transmitter(212), a lossless compressor(214), and a loss compressor(216). The compressor selecting part(200) inputs screen image to be transmitted to a remote terminal, determines whether the screen image should be compressed according to current transmission rate, and selects a proper compressor. The compressing part(210) operates by responding to control signal generated according to results of determination of compression and selection of compressor from the compressor selecting part(200). In other words, one among the transmitter(212), the lossless compressor(214) and loss compressor(216) inputs screen image by responding to control signal. The transmitter(212) transmits the screen image without compression. The lossless compressor(214) compresses the screen image without loss. The loss compressor(216) compresses the screen image with some loss. The data transmitting part(220) transmits image to be compressed by the lossless compressor(214) or the loss compressor(216) and image not to be compressed through the transmitter(212) to a remote terminal through transmission media such as telephone line or internet private line. The data transmitting part(220) calculates current transmission rate and outputs the calculated rate to the compressor selecting part(200).
