Abstract: 개시된 단축키 기능을 갖는 영상표시장치 및 그 방법은 단축키를 이용하여 영상표시장치의 기능을 나타내는 OSD 메뉴 중 사용자가 가장 많이 이용하고 있는 항목에 대하여 단축키를 설정할 수 있도록 하고, 사용자가 단축키를 선택하면 그에 대응하는 정보에 따라 전체 시스템을 제어할 수 있도록 하는 것이다.
본 발명은 영상표시장치가 가지고 있는 OSD 메뉴 중 사용자에 의해 선택되어진 하나의 항목에 대한 정보를 단축키 정보로 메모리에 저장하여 두고, 사용자가 단축키를 선택할 때마다 메모리로부터 이 정보를 읽어들여 실행되도록 하며, 이 단축키 정보는 사용자의 의도에 따라 다시 재 설정되므로써, 메모리에 저장된 단축키 정보를 변경할 수 있다.
따라서, 본 발명은 영상표시장치가 가지는 OSD 메뉴 중 자주 쓰고, 꼭 필요한 기능을 OSD 메뉴 화면을 거치지 않고 직접 실행할 수 있는 단축키 정보로 설정하여, 사용자가 보다 쉽고, 편리하게 영상표시장치의 기능을 제어할 수 있도록 하는 효과를 제공한다.

Abstract: A display device, a use authentication method thereof, and a display system are provided to offer an anti-thief function considering convenience of a user without inputting a password even if the display device is turned on again. An interface(12) performs both-way communication with an image source(20) and receives unique ID information of an ID device(23) from the image source.
