Abstract: A mobile communications terminal and a plurality of external memory interlocking methods in the mobile communication terminal capable of interworking various memory cards through one connector are provided to reduce the size and weight of the mobile terminal due to using various memory cards by using one connector. A connector(190) generates interrupt according to the mount of memory cards(21,31,32,33). A memory(110) stores the module information of the memory card and an initial driving program corresponding to each module information. If interrupt is generated by the connector, a controller(120) operates the initial driving program corresponding to the confirmed module information by confirming the module information of the memory card.
