Abstract: A method and a system for providing sponsored contents in an electronic device are provided to offer the sponsored contents to a device user based on information locally used in the electronic device, and generate an indication for providing the sponsored contents to distribute a part of rewards of a sponsor to a device maker. A UI(302) interacts with a user for the contents included in the context and records user selection by using a selection monitor(304), monitors and reports AD use states to a maker. The maker receives a part of profit of the AD agent based on the sponsorship match.
