Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for searching contents through a communication system are provided to determine the meaning of keywords from devices, users, and contents information based on the relation of the keywords and searching the contents of a website based on the meaning. CONSTITUTION: A controlling part(700) acquires keywords from a terminal and determines the meaning of the keywords based on the relation of the keyword. Contents corresponding to the meaning of the keywords are searched from contents provided from an open knowledge system. A communication module(740) provides a contents searching result to the terminal. The keywords are received from the terminal and are extracted from the device or the use of the terminal, or contents information.
