Abstract: A refrigerator is provided to selectively perform one of a rapid cooling mode and a transparent ice making mode by providing a damping device to selectively perform cooling air transportation to a top discharge port. A refrigerator includes a guide duct. The guide duct includes an ice making tray(31), an upper discharge port(16a), a lower discharge port(17a), and a damping device(50). The upper discharge port is formed on a location corresponding to a location of an upper part of the ice making tray and discharges cooling air to the upper part of the ice making tray. The lower discharge port is formed on a location corresponding to a location of a lower part of the ice making tray and discharges the cooling air to the lower part of the ice making tray. The damping device selectively limits a cooling air supply to the upper discharge port.

Abstract: A refrigerator is provided to expand a variable temperature range of a variable temperature room, and to control humidity of the variable temperature room. A refrigerator comprises a main body, a plurality of evaporators(21,31,41), a plurality of fans(22,32,42), a converting valve(51) of a refrigerant flow path, and a control unit. The main body is equipped with a plurality of storage rooms including a refrigeration room, a freezing room and a variable temperature room.
