Abstract: PURPOSE: A disk cartridge unified with a clamper is provided to remove a clamper structure of a drive to slim the drive. CONSTITUTION: A disk cartridge unified with a clamper includes a disk(10,20), a cartridge case(21), and a clamper(22). The cartridge case is that the disk is received, a spindle hole and an exposing part are provided. The spindle hole is to receive a turntable of a spindle motor(25). The exposing part is to illuminate a laser beam of an optical pick-up on the disk. The clamper is formed in the center of the disk as one body and clamped to the turntable. A shaft is installed to prevent the revolution center of the disk from being broken away in the center of the disk. The clamper is fixed so as able to attach or detach to the center of the disk.

CONSTITUTION: An optical disk drive comprises as follows. A tray(500) enters a housing(600) by receiving a disk(D). A locking device is installed in the housing to hook the tray over the housing. The first and the second holders(622, 623) are installed in the housing to fix an ejecting lever(621). A support(624) slides along the ejecting lever. A compression spring(625) covers the ejecting lever between the first holder and the support, and elastically biases the tray in a projection direction. A pushing board(550) of the tray pushes the support in a direction of the tray being inserted into the housing.

In the position transforming portion, a swing arm rotates the pinion with respect to a rotational shaft of the central gear. An upper cover(70) is combined at the upper portion of the tray. The first and second long holes(70a, 70b) and a feeding hole(72) are formed at the end circumference portion of the upper cover(70). The first and second guide holes(72a, 72b) are connected at the both end portions of the feeding hole(72). A shutter opening/closing unit and a position varying unit are provided at the upper cover(70). The shutter opening/closing unit comprises a lever(78) having the first and second hinge pins(74, 76) being fed in accordance with the first and second guide holes(72a, 72b), a compression spring(80) being connected to the cover(70) and one end of the lever(78), and an engaging protrusion(82) being protruded at the other end of the lever(78). The position varying unit comprises the first feeding lever(86) having a contacting protrusion(84) and being contacted to one surface of the 12-cm cartridge(60), the second feeding lever(90) being connected to the first feeding lever(86) and the lever(78), and a torsion spring(92) being inserted into the third hinge pin(88).
